Academic Evaluation & Learning Disability Testing

Assessing for possible Learning Disabilities is part of Neuropsychological Evaluation, as described above.

FOLLOW-UP ACADEMIC EVALUATIONS

When a student has a Learning Disability, it is important to reassess academic skills periodically in order to monitor progress and the effectiveness of interventions. In these follow-up evaluations, I speak with parents to obtain updated history since our last assessment; review school records; administer tests to re-evaluate the areas of difficulty, such as reading, writing, or math; discuss the results with parents; and provide a written report summarizing all of the findings and detailing recommendations.
