Intellectual (IQ) & Gifted Evaluations

Testing of intellectual skills (IQ testing; also known as general cognitive abilities testing) is part of a comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluation. Sometimes, however, people need just an Intellectual Evaluation. Often, that is true to meet application requirements for private schools, or to determine if a child meets criteria for being gifted. In these evaluations, I meet with parents to collect relevant history; administer the tests; discuss the results with parents; and provide a written report summarizing the findings.
